Across our partner regenerative ranches in Texas, there are herds unlike any other: full-blood Tajima Wagyu, carefully curated over generations. Backed by the Australian and American Wagyu Associations, our animals are selected using DNA tracing, world-class EBVs, and a pasture-forward philosophy that prioritizes animal welfare and soil health. This intentional breeding yields more than exquisite beef—it produces a rendered fat that’s rich, rare, and remarkably nourishing.
In late 2023, Mayka Coutino Ramirez and partner, Anthony Rao, noticed this pristine tallow being discarded. Frustrated by toxic, ineffective skincare and inspired by her abuela, who lived among the dense jungle highlands of Chiapas, she began experimenting her very own formulation. What started in a kitchen became Tajima Tallow: a skincare line rooted in tradition, science, and purpose.

By up-cycling this finite, nutrient-dense fat, we reduce waste, support biodiversity, and fund regenerative efforts on the land that raised it. Each jar reflects the integrity of its origin, offering a daily ritual that feels indulgent, grounding, and quietly transformative.

Tajima Tallow was born out of a need for something real. We were tired of overcomplicated labels, synthetic fillers, and skincare that promised more than it delivered. So we turned to what’s always worked for generations, clean ingredients, ancestral remedies, and a deeper respect for the land and animals behind it all.

We use full-blood Tajima Wagyu tallow, exclusively sourced from a meticulously bred herd with DNA-traced lineage, world-class EBVs, and pasture-raised care, because it’s simply unmatched.
