Tajima Tallow 101
Many customers with sensitive skin tolerate Tajima Tallow well due to its simple, minimal ingredient list. That said, every skin type is different, so we recommend patch testing before regular use, especially if you have known sensitivities.
Yes. Our balms are designed to be multi-use and can be applied anywhere the skin needs moisture and support, including both the face and body.
Our balms are crafted in small batches without artificial preservatives. For optimal freshness and performance, we recommend using them within 6 months of opening.
Store your product in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight. Because our balms are made with natural ingredients, changes in texture with temperature are normal and do not affect performance.
Yes! Our 2 oz version is perfect for travel and carry-on friendly. The formula itself is ideal for keeping skin nourished on-the-go, whether you're flying, road-tripping, or just out for the weekend. Just be sure not to leave your balm in hot or sunny places for too long (like a car or windowsill), as tallow is sensitive to heat and may soften or melt.

Our tallow comes exclusively from full-blood Tajima Wagyu cattle raised on regenerative ranches across Texas, with genetics registered under the Australian and American Wagyu Associations. Additional ingredients are selected carefully for function, stability, and compatibility with the skin.
Most moisturizers rely on plant oils, synthetic emollients, or water-based formulas that sit on top of the skin. Wagyu tallow—especially from full-blood Tajima cattle—goes deeper. Its fatty acid profile is uniquely similar to our skin’s own natural oils, allowing it to absorb effortlessly and nourish at a cellular level.
Rich in oleic acid and fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, our tallow helps support the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and soothe dryness without clogging pores.
Some of our balms are gently scented with steam-distilled essential oils chosen for their function and skin benefits, like lavender for calm, or eucalyptus for clarity. We also offer unscented options for those who prefer fragrance-free. We never use synthetic fragrance or anything unnecessary.

Yes! You can pick up your order at our flagship store, Wagyuru, located in Bellaire, Houston. Just select the local pickup option at checkout—we’ll let you know when it’s ready.

Returns, Refunds & general policies
We want you to feel confident in what you’re putting on your skin. If something’s not right, we’re here to help.
Due to the nature of our products, we’re unable to accept returns on opened or used items. However, if your order arrives damaged or if there’s a mistake on our end, please reach out within 30 days of receiving your order and we’ll do our best to make it right.
To request a refund, email us at info@tajimatallow.com with your order number and a brief note. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the return is approved and (if applicable) the item is received in its original, unused condition.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the issue was our error.

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your order being delivered. Products must be unused and in original condition. If your item arrived damaged or something went wrong, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make it right.
